Wow! What a nice message to wake up to this morning! Sure, I would love to go! As much notice as you can will be nice so I can arrange things at home. Also, let me know whatever I can bring (lunch) and what equipment you would recommend. Thank you so much! Been loving your work lately!

I was just reading through your profile. Are you related to Frank Culpepper from Eufaula? My husband lived in Geneva. His name is John Ed Olive & his father owned Gilstrap Drug Store for a while. Eventually they moved to Eufaula & he graduated in 1982, I graduated from EHS in 1985.

Hey Mr. Mike!! Any way you might consider taking me along on some kind of nature shoot sometime? I'll bet I could learn a thing or two, and I sure would enjoy it!
Love your stuff!

Congratulations, Mike! Ronnie is fascinated with your picture of the eagle and wants to know where the pic was taken. He says to tell you "hello".

Thanks. That's what I hoped to hear. I can't afford the D700. Besides, the FX format would trash my 70-200 lens. It doesn't rate very well at full frame according to DP Review. I spent more on the lens than I did my camera. The good thing about the D700 is that it will make you money. At least that's what I keep telling myself. Thanks. BTW: I get to shoot the upcoming ASA Girls Fastpitch at South Commons at the end of the month. Hope to get some good action shots out of it. Boy will it be hot. I'll shoot for the Sports Council and will charge very little, plus post good shots to their website. I webmaster their site anyway.

Hey Mike, first; I love your photos. You're a pro. Question: I shoot with a Nikon D70s and am considering upgrading to the D90. The D90 handles higher ISO like some of the more expensive, newer, Nikons. Since I shoot a lot of Springer Opera House plays at 800 ISO, do you know how much better (less grainey) the photos would be with a D90? You use a 700? How does it handle 800 ISO? thanks.
