Ode of Remberence by Laurence Binyon

They went with songs to the battle, they were young.
Straight of limb, true of eyes, steady and aglow.
They were staunch to the end against odds uncounted,
They fell with their faces to the foe.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.
Lest we Forget.

The "Ode of Remembrance" is an ode taken from Laurence Binyon's "For the Fallen",

545 People by Charlie Reese

545 vs 300,000,000
EVERY CITIZEN NEEDS TO READ THIS AND THINK ABOUT WHAT THIS JOURNALIST HAS SCRIPTED IN THIS MESSAGE. READ IT AND THEN REALLY THINK ABOUT OUR CURRENT POLITICAL DEBACLE.

Charley Reese has been a journalist for 49 years.

545 PEOPLE
By Charlie Reese

Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them.

Have you ever wondered, if both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits, WHY do we have deficits?

Have you ever wondere… Continue

Patriotism by Ellie Schoenfeld

Patriotism
by Ellie Schoenfeld

My country is this dirt
that gathers under my fingernails
when I am in the garden.
The quiet bacteria and fungi,
all the little insects and bugs
are my compatriots. They are
idealistic, always working together
for the common good.
I kneel on the earth
and pledge my allegiance
to all the dirt of the world,
to all of that soil which grows
flowers and food
for the just and unjust alike.
The soil does not care
what we think about or who we love.
It knows our true subs… Continue

Would not be surprised to find this one gone in the A.M.: copy and paste;
I posted a copy of the compliant and an order McKoon filed for Thorson against the bar next to his place. And a picture of the sign where Thorson applied for an alcohol license.
Something I thought was a touch hypocritical.
Seems someone took offense to the posting of public recorders. The post and the attachments were deleted and I am still waiting to hear by whom and why.
Figured folks could draw there own conclusions. Guess not.

Hi Gina,
I am trying to find a working Polaroid camera that takes the kind of pictures where you peel the stuff apart.
Do you have one?
Thanks,
Sally Morgan

P.S. If you ever run across a Jefferson Golden Hour Clock in great condition, I would like one for my desk.

Gina, I love your music!
When I think of Frank Zappa, I think of "Billy the Mountain". My brothers had the Zappa/Mothers album with that on it, and I used to want to hear it over and over. Ethel was a tree on his shoulder...

Funny you mentioned "cigar"; was that a clever ploy to find out if he (Cigar) was the subject? Going to CommuniCorp today to pick up a giclee of They're Off; is your shop near AFLAC? I went to the Engineer Officers Advance Class there and although long ago, not THAT long ago! If your dad's still around, tell him "essayons"!

Not Storm Cat, but a good guess, tell's me that you know a lot more about horses than most. He (Storm Cat) A.P. Indy and Distorted Humor command the highest stud fees right now (their range is from $225,000 to $350,000). Looks like you have a neat shop, will have to stop by during one of my trips to the thriving metropolis. Oh, was dad an Army Engineer? (spent time at Belvoir myself).

I will announce the winner on the ITC site, meantime go see some great art at the Joseph House Art Gallery at 828 Broadway.
