Sometimes, you guys on here have such a narrow point of view. They are different narrow points of view, but still narrow. Open your minds and open your eyes. It's a large world, getting smaller every day, and moving in right next door!!

Flea'd from the blog of a Mississippi girlfriend

Catfish was to do a book review, but somewhere...She's a dentist in NE MS who made a special effort to look out for my kid for a time. She and her husband, Jeff, often exchange weelend visits home and away when Auburn plays Ole Miss. On her first trip to see me, The Flowerchild and I "double dated" for dinner at the Buckhead Grille with her and Hal K here, when Andrew was still making it happen. There's a lot of smarts over there that have drawn my attention.

Who is my Neighbor?

I heard an excellent sermon yesterday at First Presbyterian Church (Chuck Hasty) on this topic. "Who is my Neighbor?" The Good Samaritan story we've all heard so many times in Sunday School. Chuck substituted the Samaritan with a Muslim. In Jesus' day the Samaritan's were the Muslims of today--hated, feared and ostracized.
